A single frame (16 pages) exhibit, with 27 covers or cards, "Feldpost-Expositur" markings on covers, Money orders, stationery cards, registered mail from Plevlje to Sarajevo and Vienna, FPO No.1A from Prjepolje, "K.und K. Feldpost-Expositur N1B/Priboj", 1906 card with Austrian franking and a Bosnian 10h Postage Due applied on arrival in Plevlje, etc. An interesting collection (Although "Sanjak" usually means any one of the many Ottoman Administrative units, one has become known as "the Sanjak." Following the Treaty of Berlin, the Sanjak of Novi Pazar became the symbol of a status quo strategy in the Balkans intended to prevent Serbia and Montenegro from merging. Although part of the Ottoman Empire until 1912, Novi Pazar had an Austro-Hungarian military presence from 1879-1908.
