3259 E   imageMilitary Mail. 1919 Finnish Volunteers, postcard from Tallinn to Vasa, with oval unit cachet, also postcard from Walk to Lappeenranta sent by a member of the "Sons of the North" Regiment of volunteers, special unit cachet and arrival pmk alongside. In addition, there is a piece showing special marking of Danish Auxiliary Corps which were in Estonia during the War of Liberation, plus a postcard from Tallinn to Sweden, sent by a member of Swedish Corps of Volunteers (stamps removed, possibly by censor, before the card was forwarded). A rare assembly (The Northern Boys (Pohjan Pojat), Finnish volunteers, were mostly Finnish Jaegers who had already participated in the battles of the First World War in Zemgale.
