Welcome to our September 30th Auction, with over 7,300 lots to choose from.

We are very pleased to offer a wide array of material from every part of the globe. You will find our auctions to be collector friendly and backed up by good old-fashioned service.

Here are some of the September 30th highlights:

  • An extensive showing of Bermuda from classic rarities to modern, plus proofs, KGV-KGVI Key Plate varieties, and other specialized items.
  • A fascinating selection of 19th Century Great Britain caricature envelopes including some scarce and hand-coloured types.
  • Attractive section of British Columbia 19th Century classics which are mostly mint.
  • Excellent Canada with many great sections including 19th Century classics, Jubilees to $5, imperforate KGV-KGVI era in pairs and blocks, Semi-Official Airmails and Revenues.
  • Strong section of Newfoundland from Pence issues onwards with some nice covers and postal history including VF Columbia and Balbo airmail covers.

  • Scarce group of Fiji Times Express issues from 1870-1. These stamps were used by the Fiji Times newspaper to run a delivery network before a formal postal service existed.

Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is conducted in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use.
