entire from Raleigh UC 15 Mr 1843 to Toronto with "PAID 11". Inside has an elaborate 4-page printed INDENTURE legal agreement (with illustration of the Canada Company Arms) between THE CANADA COMPANY and John Gray of Dover Township in Kent County.
This is a TURNED COVER. The Canada Company was a chartered British land development company in the 19th & 20th Century. It held huge tracts of land in Southwestern Ontario and aided in colonization. Write-up on the cover accompanies. F (Image)
