 1885, Small Dragons, 1ca to 5ca, imperforate proofs (Chan 13-15. Scott 10-12 vars.), comprising:- 1ca green imperforate
plate proof on thin vertically laid paper, block of four with sheet margin at left.
- 3ca imperforate plate proof in mauve on thin wove watermarked gummed paper, block of four with sheet margins at right and foot.
- 5ca imperforate plate
proof in olive yellow on wove unwatermarked ungummed paper, block of four with huge sheet margins at top and left.
All are of excellent color, with large to enormous margins, the 1ca., which is especially rare, has the typical suffusion
associated with the one proof sheet pulled on this paper, and the 3ca. has toning, Fine to Very Fine overall, and an exceptional group.
