by two strikes of bilingual Nanking City postmark dated Mar. 26 [1912] (a third strike across backflap) on local cover to the British Consul in the city, F.E. Wilkinson; cover sound but with faint toning just affecting some of the stamps'
perforations, still an eye-catching item, nearly Very Fine. Chan gives the issue date as Mar. 20, 1912, making this a first-week use.
