Scott 253, 254), with die number "1123", sunk on thin laid glazed surface paper (109 x 85mm.), handstamped "Sep 15 1922" in violet, with the two sheets of paper largely detached, Very Fine and an interesting example illustrating the printing technique,

The paper for the die proofs consisted of two separate pieces of thin laid paper fused together to form a more stout paper. The backing piece served as a blanket for the découpage. On a few occasions, the backing part of the paper peeled off, thereby resulting in two separate pieces.
