3222 ngbl 8 image1879-94, Lithographed, 15kr brown, type II, perf 12½ (Scott 8), a fresh, attractive block of 30 showing "M A R" of the watermark "BRIEFMARKEN," each letter complete on a single stamp (positions 20, 22 & 24 in the block), nicely regummed with a bit of hinge reinforcement along the left side. The largest known multiple of this stamp, ex-Marakovic, with a 2005 Soecknick certificate noting [mistakenly, we feel] untreated ("unbehandelte") original gum.

The cover is homemade from an unused ledger sheet and the stamps, which equal the proper 45h registration rate, are, perhaps, arranged patriotically to resemble the black and yellow colors of the Hapsburg flag, Extremely Fine and choice.
