2623   imageDenmark, Large Mostly Used Accumulation with Covers, 1851-2012, 18 binders, 11 stockbooks, 5 counter books, and many hundreds of covers make up this lot of excellent Danish stock, overall mostly used, but some better mint too, like #94b, 223d (3), 229b (3), 238Al (2), 246a (block of 6), 249a (block of 6). But without a doubt, this particular collector's interest was in cancellations, and there's a stockbook with numeral cancels in order of the early issues, as well as a large assemblage of town cancels on pages consisting of mostly modern stamps sorted by name, from Åbenrå to Vordingborg. But the fascination with cancels doesn't end there, because there are literally tens of thousands of stamps, a good chunk of which are sorted into glassines and multiple stockbooks and binders, and not just by town, but also by date. Yes, mostly from the Queen Margrethe II issue of the 1990s, page after page with one stamp for every day of the year! Used highlights include 3 (4), 5 (12), 8 (5), 10, 12 (11), 14 (3), 15 (6), 17 (4), 34 (4), 68 (6), 69 (5), 80 (6), 81 (5), 110 (12), 131 (10), 136, 171a, 223d, 228a, 228c, 248a, etc. In addition, a stockbook of perfins sorted by company, a binder of stamps with attached advertising labels, used & unused postal stationery, and a cover album for Frimærkets Dag from 1939-89, overall Fine to Very Fine, additional scans & video online.
