Columbus, 1c-20c plate proofs on India in unissued colors, 1867 (Scott 15-19), full sheets of 100 (2c & 20c each with one stamp missing) cut close with all marginal markings trimmed away, each professionally mounted on a card backing; colors, 1c green, 2c black5c brown, 10c blue, and 20c scarlet, are, in fact, the same colors used by American Bank Note Co. for to the U.S. "Atlanta" plate proof of 1881. Colors are bright and fresh, though the 20c proof has a bit of adhesive staining affecting some stamps in the lower left corner of the sheet., Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Believed to be unique and, by far, the largest plate proof multiples of each of the values., with a 2001 Brian Moorhouse certificate.
