U.S. & Foreign, Motley Mulligatawny of Mint, Used & Covers, a treasure hunter's dream—with a few treasures to be found; US highlights include a beautiful and sound #1 with blue grid cancel, mint Bank Notes, #C1-C3 and C13-C15 (the last with slight faults), never hinged #630E7 and F1, plus 1920s-early 70s plate blocks including cent-value Prexies and Liberties, Airs, Special Deliveries, Dues, etc.; a box of 1940s-70s First Day Covers with a variety of cachets (some multi-color); part-sheets of Farlies (some with plate numbers), mint and used loose in additional boxes with multiples, Revenues, etc.; foreign comprises loose in boxes, a binder of general, plus 15 binders of Germany mainly Reich on, with heavy emphasis on mint and used Bund, Berlin and DDR including better early issues, souvenir sheets, band and carpet posthorn overprints, several Bund Posthorns, a couple 1945-46 Locals, etc.; condition varies but much clean and sound and decently organized, Fine to Very Fine with much better, inspection invited.
