2237   imageU.S. & Possessions, "Out of the Ordinary" Diverse Holding of Auction Lots, 1862-1999, Consisting of various lots, from Harner-Schau to the Oregon Stamp Society, some single items, like a full sheet of #826, but mostly small collections on album pages, such as separate lots for the first, second and third revenue issues, as well as Documentary & Proprietary, an incredible collection of Post Office Seals with such better as OXF1e (printed on both sides) and a full pane of 20 of OX27, mint & used telegraph stamps, Farley Special Printings in plate blocks, center line blocks and gutter blocks, a sizeable assemblage of Cinderella labels including some foreign, and some better mint U.S. Possessions including Canal Zone 3, 6, 8, 18-20, 37, 120-35, C1-3, J11, Guam 4, 7, Hawaii 71, 73, Philippines 236. In addition, three sets of the U.N. Executive Authority in New Guinea, dozens of cross-gutter blocks and pairs of the Legends of the West sheet, two full coil rolls of test stamp TD119, and three extraordinary mint sheets, the first of which is the Oregon Statehood stamp of 1959 signed by then-Postmaster General Arthur Summerfield, a mini-sheet of the 55¢ Billy Mitchell stamp signed by illustrator Paul Salmon, and lastly, the 1992 Space Achievements signed by designer Robert McCall, Space Shuttle astronaut Henry Hartsfield and Mercury & Apollo astronaut Donald "Deke" Slayton, as well as the joint issue of Russia, also in a full sheet and signed by designer Vladimir Bellin and cosmonaut Gherman Titov.
