192 cover Tucson 1867.11 image1867 (Nov.), Arizona Territorial Cover from Tucson to Philadelphia, franked by three #65 singles, tied by two indistinct strikes of November Tucson postmark Type I (in use Mar. 1867 to Jan. 1868); endorsed "Via Santa Fé" at upper left; traveled by stagecoach from Arizona to New Mexico, thence via normal US Mails; stamps and cover with faults, the postmark strike typical, Fine to Very Fine. The AZ-NM Postal History Society listed six such Type I postmark covers in their census, this being the seventh to be found. Arizona Territorial Postmark Catalog assigns this Rarity 9. (Image)
