232   imageU.S. and Foreign, Mint & Used Collections in Albums, 1847-1977, The main highlight of this particular lot is a very respectable United States (1847-1973) collection, used early on but complete mint from 1930 onwards. Housed in two Scott volumes, better used include #1-2, 36B, 73, 76, 115-16, 523-24, E1, and mint 296, 299, 328-30, 506-16, 518, 548-50, 551-72, 581-91, 630, 658-67, 669-77, 679, 692-701, 803-34, C1-6, C13-15, C18, E3, PR5. Five other albums/binders, three of which are pages from a set of Scott Internationals and decently filled too with a mixture of mint and used. Other nice surprises include a set of counter pages with such better as U.S. mint 234-35, 287-89, 297-99, C1, C4, a handful of Ducks including mint RW22-24, USPS annual mint sets for 1974-77, and a cigar box of U.S. plate blocks with unexpected MNH blocks of six of 279 & 300. 239   imageU.S. and Foreign, Consignment Balance Accumulation, 1840-1990's, coming to us packed into nine large boxes, filled with USPS year sets, with a number of year sets, many of which are from the late 1980's and 1990's, piles of postage scattered about, a framed classic Great Britain Victoria pane with #1 penny black along with 100+ perforated penny reds, quite a few binders of souvenir cards, with 35+ cover albums filled with approximately 3,000-4,000 covers from the 1920's to the 1990's, mostly first day combination first day covers from 1960's-1990's, plus an album of British covers with a bit of currency, sections of flight covers and airmail covers, including a smaller section of Zeppelin covers, sections of early first day covers with some better cachets, with more notable items which include: several sets of perforated parks, 834, C21/C22 first flights (3 covers, Apr 21, 1937 San Francisco to Hong Kong) and Germany C36 on Zeppelin flight postcard. A mix of mint & used, the one drawback is that the majority of mint is adhering to the page.
