228   imageConsiderable Classic Cover Collection, 1840s-1904, 180+ covers from the early stampless period until the early 20th century, filled with many interesting covers carefully mounted in Ka-Be album by a German stamp collector. There are occasional covers from the U.S., but the vast majority of the covers originate in the U.S. with German origins and also the occasional other European destination, so there are many higher international rates, special transit markings, mostly through New York, France or Germany, with some occasional very interesting covers including one we noted with U.S. stamps and Hong Kong cancel and a postcard with 1905 Honolulu cancel. In addition, there were quite a few registered covers with quite a few exchange labels.
