2288   imageU.S. Possessions Accumulation, 1860s-1940s, over 100 black approval cards, filled with various possessions, roughly grouped by area, with some decent Spanish American war overprints of U.S. stamps, including: Cuba, Guam (including 10 mint) and Puerto Rico. Danish West Indies contains several cards of mint and used early numerals, which need to be checked over and identified. Hawaii has a couple early numerals and a couple early imperfs Kamehameha issues, followed by many of the banknote as well as the provisional overprints, including mint: 34 (2), 46, 63, 71, 72 (2), and used: 49 with small Maltese cross, many of these banknote and provisional overprints contain postmarks with visible towns, including occasional smaller towns which would be worth looking up. There is the occasional Philippine including several '00-'20 regular issue which have been unchecked for watermarks or perforations and may have some decent singles lurking about.
