2570   imageFrance, Old-Time Quality Inventory with New Issues, 1938-1990. A generational inventory with much never hinged beginning in the 1930's until the 1990's, kept in the same stamp dealing family for over 80 years, this was a favorite country. We find some hinged and nicely canceled but 85% or so is fresh mint N.H. from a long ago new issue stock. Values add up quickly in the $10 to $50 range each and occasionally are more like ten complete booklets of Scott 301a at $300 each for a total of $3,000. alone. This holding has a Scott value in excess of $48,000.
