1854   imageEurope (Western), Various Mint & Used Collections, 1850-1999, In eleven stockbooks of various sizes, we begin with earlier Germany and some mint never hinged sets & singles, which as we all know can routinely catalog at 5x the hinged price. With the exception of two values, #351-62 are never hinged, as well as B119, B144-45, B173, 9N70-74 (2), 10N37 imperf (MiNr. 220aU), 702-21, among others. Moving on, we next encounter three stockbooks of mint & used Italy, which the owner has stated a catalog value of nearly $6,000, and it's easy to see why with so much premium material, like mint 124-15, 140-42, 165-68, B4, B17-18, C10-11, E26, and used 37-44, 55, 62-63, 66 (2), 100f, 114, 409, B23-24, C5, C79-81, C127-28 (2), D9, E12, E17, J12-20, J22-24, J25-27 (3), O5-6, P1, and plenty more. A stockbook of France mixed mint & used is up next, with mint 300c (with certificate), 2713, and used B11, B12-19, as well as a separate stockbook on colonies. And let's not forget Monaco; two stockbooks of mint with the following… 596 imperf (Yvert #658a), 596 special block on gummed paper (Yvert #8), 596 as a deluxe sheet (Epreuves de Luxe), B26-35, C40. 1855   imageEurope (Western), Strong Mostly Modern Mint Collections, 1862-2019, Ten albums of the Scott Specialty series in excellent condition with most stamps hinged but many in mounts. The six countries represented in this lot all have similar characteristics; they could use some help early on, but all have very impressive mint runs in the modern era. Belgium (1869-2006), Italy (1863-2007) and Spain (1870-2006) are all in two volumes and have a mixture of mint & used until 1980, but from then on have a nearly complete mint run to the end adding up to some serious face. Austria (1867-2019), also in two volumes, is even more impressive with a run of mint from 1950-2019! Switzerland (1862-2006) too is nearly complete from 1981 onwards, and Vatican City (1933-2009) virtually complete from 1954-2009, with some better sets too, like mint #19-34 & 149-53, generally Fine to Very Fine, a number of flips online to showcase the level of completeness.
