1130   imageMint Collection for the Connoisseur, 1894-1959, Two Scott albums, one for definitives and the other for commemoratives, and all mint. And it's clear from the very first glance that this is no ordinary collection. Not only does it appear to be entirely never hinged, the stamps are immaculately centered with fresh colors, four wide margins in the case of imperfs, and free of faults. There are even 15 certificates, a dozen of them attesting to a 95% grade. Highlights include #247-48, 333-34, 343-37, 413, 416-17, 428, 431-32, 457, 507-11, 515, 540-41, 551-59, 570, 584-87, 589-91, 666, 668, 676-78, 692-701. For a lot like this, you can actually forego the catalogue, because even though the overall cat value is quite high, a collection of handpicked beauties such as these is hard to put a price on, mostly Very Fine or better. Shipping charges apply - weight 7.6 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (PDF2 for this Lot) (Video for this lot) (Image)
