6d ultramarine Die II with the Watermark Inverted ACSC 19a (SG 38cw) Plate 2 left pane 'CA' Monogram corner strip of 3 ACSC
19(2)za, the Monogram complete, well-centred, small perf reinforcement (with a piece of stamp selvedge!, possibly from the same sheet) in the lower margin, Cat $20,000+ for mounted in footnote 2.
The ACSC states that "A Plate 2 CA strip of 3 ... [with Watermark Inverted] is known, and also another CA monogram block has been recorded". This appears to be under-catalogued in relation to a strip with normal watermark (Cat $12,000), as single
stamps with Watermark Inverted are listed at three-times the normal price. One of only two recorded Monogram pieces, and the only Monogram strip known with Watermark Inverted. (Image1) (Image2)
