1950-52 KGVI Definitives 3d scarlet SG 235 Booklet Plate gutter block of 4 with the characteristic narrow margins tied to a plain
JC Thompson envelope by 'GPO SYDNEY 130/25OC51/NSW-AUST', typed "FIRST DAY OF/BOOKLET PLATE" at upper-left, a couple of very minor blemishes, Cat $2500 in footnote 3. Plans to issue this stamp in booklets were abandoned after the July 1951 postal

cover with a block of 6 sold at our auction of 13.6.2009 for $2185 (Sale 145 Lot 90). (Image1) (Image2)
