All-different datestamp array on topographical picture postcards predominantly from Golden Age to 1930s plus some to early 1960s
divided into single-ring cds x140 approx, double-ring cds x540 approx, squared-circles x30, duplexes x35 and KGV-period rubber cds x5. The majority are fine to very fine strikes with many being superb. Includes good representation from Scotland &
Wales plus some Ireland and offshore Islands, numerous tiny post offices represented including many truly odd names. A wonderful basis for a lifetime of collecting. Our Estimate is just for the postmark content: the postcards may be worth at least as

KEVII period superior collection of mostly circular datestamps including MO&SB, RPO and registered types, a great many from
sub-offices branch offices and tiny hamlets many with quirky names, also duplexes (mainly on piece), London Districts group (but very little from other cities), plenty from Ireland Scotland and Wales, an unusually fine selection of undated rubber
parcel and triangular Printed Matter cancels. The quality of the strikes is fine to superb, and many are on better shades and denominations including 2/6d x23, 5/- x10 & 10/- x2 (both with minor defects), lots of multiples and usage on piece. A very
appealing lot for the postmark or stamp collector.
