 1974 Paintings $1 Light Horseman horizontal strip of five with Black Printing (Inscriptions) Omitted from the Second & Third Units
ACSC 664ca, unmounted, Cat $15,000. BPA Certificate (2013). Tom Pierron says up to 15 examples of the Black Omitted error are recorded (that is, five strips such as the one here, plus another five single stamps from the other variant of this error
ACSC 664cb). The ACSC states that in this variant the black printing is completely omitted from the second unit, but in fact the 'AU' of 'AUSTRALIA' is faintly printed. We note also that the inscriptions on the other three units are all slightly
