almost fine strike of the cut-down '=KOTMALIE=' handstamp with manuscript "5/1862/26/paid" inserted, light ' F /ABERDEEN/JY6/62' arrival backstamp, ironed-out horizontal & vertical folds well clear of the stamp, light soiling. Kimmel & Pearson at

Chungking China & from Hong Kong per PanAm 'Clipper', very minor repaired peripheral tears. A handsome cover. Plumbago is better known as graphite. Ceylon is the only country to produce the purest form of 'vein' graphite. Plumbago mining was the
