1856-58 QV Perkins Bacon Adelaide Printings 1d yellow-green SG 6, margins close to good, minor blemishes, Cat £600. RPSV
Certificate (2007) as the then SG 5. Larger than Don Pearce's dated example that sold for $366. [We are pleased to see that Gibbons have now combined SG 5 & SG 6 - "green" & "yellow-green" - into a single entry, there being little difference in
shade. Most examples in the market are, or are likely to be, SG 13 or 14 (now also amalgamated, as SG 13) with the roulettes trimmed-off. Genuine examples of the Imperf Adelaide Penny are much scarcer than the catalogue value would suggest] (Image1) (Image2)
