 1840 'Penny Black' selection comprising Plate 1b [I-E] & [P-G] both with constant varieties and [M-F] with the Watermark Inverted;
Plate 2 [D-G] with 'D' Doubled and [M-E] with 'M' Doubled and superb Maltese Cross stated to be in "ruby" ink; Plate 4 [F-G] and unused [P-G]; Plate 6 [D-B] with the Watermark Inverted, [J-L] stated to be cancelled with Maltese Cross of Warwick in
black and [T-E]; Plate 8 [B-H], [J-B] & [J-C] with 'Original Re-Entry'; and Plate 9 [B-I]; plus "Tuppence Blue" Plate 1 in a deep shade; a few minor blemishes but all with full margins and generally fine to very fine, Cat £32,000+. A very attractive
