½d green Electro 4 interpanneau block of 24 (12x2) with complete 'CA' Monograms on Both Sides and listed varieties on four units
ACSC 65(4)zf, a few split perfs at the top of he gutter and minor perf reinforcement in the margins only (one piece with a bit of toning), light overall aging of the unmounted gum, Cat $3680+ for a mounted strip of 12 & twelve unmounted units. The
ACSC states "approximately 20 strips of 12 have survived" across both electros. Obviously, blocks of 24 are included in that number & are rare. Absent from Stuart Hardy's exceptional collection and superior to Arthur Gray's similar block, that was
guillotined through the centre of the monograms & that had "extensive perf reinforcing" and was "somewhat aged". (Image1) (Image2)
