some characteristic irregular perfs, Cat £675; the Imperf Unauthorised Reprints in issued colours on thin card; and the Fournier forgeries (paddle at rear of canoe touches the shore) unused (most with large-part original gum) and 'used' (most with
the bogus 'MUNIA' cds); generally very fine.

 1907 Large Canoes horizontal strips of 6 comprising ½d Types I-III + I-III, 1d to 1/- Types I-VI, the 6d split into two strips of
3, some reinforcing otherwise superb with most units being unmounted, Cat £1800+, for normal singles. On John Gibson's annotated display pages. Very scarce multiples: absent from John Darnell's collection and 'Besancon' had only the ½d 1d & 2d.
Because the clichés for each denomination were prepared individually, the six sub-types vary from value to value.
