905 c image1894 (Sept 5) to "Bombay India, Punjab Lahore" addressed in both English & Arabic text with ½d green & 2d grey tied by two largely fine strikes of 'GERALDTON/5/SP 5/1894/=WESTERN AUSTRALIA= - G' duplex cancels, Perth 'SP 10' and 'BOMBAY/OC.1/94' transits and 'LAHORE/4 OC./94' arrival backstamps, a little roughly opened at left with hinge repairs on back. Lahore is the capital of the Punjab in the north-east of present-day Pakistan. Camels were the preferred beasts of burden on the Goldfields, and this was almost definitely sent by an 'Afghan' camel driver. (Image1) (Image2)
