KGV Heads 2d brown Die I usages 1924 (May; early) solo franking on unsealed long-format envelope for double printed matter rate
(ACSC Cat $400), with KGV 1d green on WJ Cryer Sydney multi-coloured illustrated advertising envelope to USA, and with KGV 1d green x4 registered to USA, plus 2d brown Die II usages solo franking for domestic letter rate (stained) plus with KGV 1d
green to France & to Switzerland, condition fine to very fine except as noted. Scarce stamps on cover: when issued the letter rate had decreased to 1½d per 1oz; when it increased to 2d in 1930 they were quickly replaced by the 2d red Die III.
