2491 S imageNorth Melsetter: 'NTH MELSETTER/[  ]MY/11/S.RHOD[ESIA]' single-ring skeleton relief cds, largely very fine large-part composite strike on Double Heads Perf 14 1d red x2 (one slightly aged), unrecorded by Proud. Handbook Extremely Rare (only one recorded example dated '17MY/11'; Sean Burke advises that one further example has now been recorded). Renamed from Steynstroom PO 1.5.1911; closed 23.11.1920. Proud records the 'STEYNSTROOM' double-circle cds used up until 2.2.1911 and the 'NORTH MELSETTER' double-circle cds used from 4.12.1911 onwards.
