dumb cancels to "Shanghia [sic] China", the reverse festooned with cds of 'JUNEAU/ALASKA', five different American Forces datestamps including the most unusual "lemon" 'SFRE APO REG SEC/SAN FRANCISCO CALIF' & indistinct Shanghai arrival cds of
25.11.1945, pencilled "APO 290" in Manila, central vertical fold. The addressee, John Sweet was a British engineer formerly at the Shanghai Waterworks. Lunghwa was 12km SW of Shanghai at the former Kiangsu Middle School. (Image1) (Image2)
