POSTAL HISTORY: 1939 to Australia with KGVI ½d Bird x3 tied by '.../HULL ISLAND' cds and very fine small '.../PASSED BY CENSOR/("Beru")' handstamp on face plus four later censored covers with the larger '.../PASSED...' cachets ('1' x2 and '3' x2, one manuscript), also 1950 local cover with KGVI 1d tied by '.../NUI' cds, 1950 to England "POSTED AT SEA - OFF CHRISTMAS ISLAND" with KGVI ½d Bird x4 tied by 'MV COMLIEBANK' ship cachets & 'CRISTOBAL C.Z/PAQUEBOT' duplex and 1954 & 1956 registered airmails to England (one a formular usage of British 'H' size Registration Envelope KGVI 8½d grey) with KGVI 2/- block of 4 & single or marginal block of 6 respectively, a few with minor blemishes/faults.
