[The ½d is very scarce on cover. This is an exceptional Postage Dues franking]

1253 cO image1913 (June 13) oversize cover (230x152mm) for Clark & Fauset Engineers (Brisbane) with all-over advertising & illustrations of machinery on both sides, to Ipswich with 1d Kangaroo tied by Brisbane machine cancel, opened a bit roughly at right (not affecting the illustrations), minor blemishes & a repaired tear at the base hardly detract from what is a sensational advertising cover. The only example we have seen. Presumably it contained a slim catalogue, for which the Printed Matter rate was ½d per 2oz x2.
