1d green Plate 1 with Saddle on Emu (Partially Repaired) [Pos I/36] as ACSC 80(1)e but an unlisted state, being the lower-right unit in a block of 18 (6x3) with some other unlisted varieties, quite well-centred, a
little minor gum aging on a few units & in the margins not affecting the variety unit, unmounted, Cat $3800+ for the variety mounted plus 17 unmounted singles. Apparently an unsuccessful repair attempt; the flaw was subsequently retouched quite early
in this printing.

1d green Plate 4 with Wattle Line [Pos VII/31] ACSC 80(4)f but additionally with unlisted variety Scratch Extended through Crown, 'AUS' of 'AUSTRALIA', Kangaroo & Left Value Tablet to Base and also with Notch in
Left Frame 5mm below Upper-Left Corner being the upper unit in a vertical pair, the lower unit with Retouched Flaw below Neck & White Flaw on Kangaroo's Leg [Pos VII/37] ACSC 80(4)ha, a couple of uneven perfs at left, minor gum disturbance, the lower
unit with a tiny tonespot on the gum, Cat $360+ for two variety singles as listed in the ACSC.
The upper stamp is a conundrum that simply does not conform to the listings: the Extended Wattle Line Scratch traverses almost the entire stamp, but does not match with the State II Tick described in the ACSC. The Notch in Left Frame is listed only
in the CofA Wmk issue as 82(4)fd with a footnote that it "appeared in January 1935".

1d green on Translucent Paper Plate 4 AJ Mullett Imprint block of 8 with Ferns [Pos VII/54] and 'RA' Joined [Pos VII/60] ACSC 80aa(4)z and the lower-right unit with Kangaroo's Tongue Out [Pos VIII/56], quite
well-centred, the upper units lightly mounted, the lower units unmounted, Cat $1350+ for the imprint block mounted plus two mounted & two unmounted singles. These three varieties were retouched or re-entered later in this printing. The ACSC states in
footnote 3 that "translucent paper is found with Mullett imprint, price $1000". We take this to mean the Ferns Retouched imprint, and an imprint prior to the retouch should be worth a substantial premium (as is the case for imprints on ordinary
paper).
