Huge margins with horizontal pre-printing paper fold, in combination with 1861, 4r black on yellow + 1r black on green, Cuernavaca slightly overlapping on portion of wrapper dated March 16, 1863, all tied by Cuernavaca circular handstamps (Schatzkes 218), Very Fine, only 96 of the 8r were issued and this is the only use in the district itself (NF $2,010 for off cover singles), with 2001 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.

The 8r Black on Green were printed in parallel to the 8r Black on Brown to combat the illegal use of splits from six larger districts and sent only to those. However, at the end of the issue, with the central post office in disarray, the small balance of the 8r Green stamps on hand was sent in small amounts to 16 other districts including Cuernavaca. All those are rarities.
