1782 o      Southern Rhodesia, KGV//QEII Cancellation Collection. On black stock pages and glassine envelopes, approximately 400 stamps, many on piece, plus blocks of 4. Includes Admiral issues from Rhodesia and So. Rhodesia, Rhodesia Coat of Arms, most are select examples, socked-on-the-nose strikes, including scarce such as Lobangwe and Gaths Mine, Silver Jubilee pairs canceled Melsetter or Chipinga, QEII Independence set in blocks of 4, the £1 with sheet number, and much more. 1785       Swaziland, Collection, 1889-1968. Mint collection on album pages with first set to the 5/, a group of forgeries with Brandon certificate (n/c) and 1933 KGV Pictorial set and complete from there to 1968. 1786 /o      Sweden, Collection. 1787       Sweden, Postal History. Specialized collection of at least a couple thousand pieces with every collecting area covered and requiring a current Facit catalog to appreciate the depth and value of this lot, starts with a great collection of the early T.P.O., Railroad and Ship cancels starting in the late 1800's and all the way to the more modern period, with many better cancels and usages, extensive postal stationery with mint and used studies with several varieties, extensive airmail selections to many better countries, stampless and early period covers, censors in both wars, special category items, FDC's (with several better earlier ones), much commercial, better town cancels, etc.; great lot for the specialist collector or dealer of this area.

1788       Switzerland, Airmail Postal History. Gorgeous grouping of 400-500 middle range priced Swiss Airmail covers starting in 1913 and going into the 1950's. Composed of both flights starting in the 1920's and commercial usages. Many of the flights are identified by their SFPH numbers. There are many with the appropriate airmail vignettes and etiquettes. Truly beautiful lot full of interesting items including World War Two routes and unusual destinations. Generally very fine. All are sleeved and priced with an approximate total retail of $18,000.

1789       Tanganyika, Cover Collection. An extensive collection of 191 covers on album pages, each selected for postmark interest and all meticulously written-up with cancels identified by Proud number. Mostly KGV (including a few Giraffe issues) - KGVI but some QEII. Arranged alphabetically from Amani through West Kilimanjaro. A delightful collection. F-VF throughout.

1790 o      Tanganyika, KGV Used Collection. Of 60 items selected for cancellation, many with socked-on-the-nose strikes. Includes GEA overprints to the 1r (2) with 25¢ block of 4 on pale yellow, incoming plate proof on card of Motor Cycle from England, redirected with 1¢ KGV (4), 30¢ Giraffe block of 4, portion of hotel "Advertized". corner card with 30¢ and 1/ Key type, a few Paquebots, German Seepost, and a group of village postmarks. Giraffes to the 1/ - 3/, the latter used on piece, high value Key types fiscally used including £1 (3), etc. All appear F-VF.

1791       Togo, Registered Covers. 6 registered covers all bearing stamps of Gold Coast overprinted "Togo Anglo-French Occupation", the first a cover canceled LOME 25.7.16 with censor label "Opened By/Censor/At Lome". at left, the LKD of this label to Switzerland; 2d grey pair cover to Cambridge, one with variety thin "G" and 3-line Passed by Censor/at/Lome(Togo); 2 covers canceled at Assahun and each with matching regular. label and the last 2 to NY (folded) and Paris. An excellent array.

1792 /o      Transvaal, 1882 QV Specialized Collection of the "EEN PENNY" Overprint. On 4d highlighted by an example of the variety inverted overprint, a block of 8 and a spectacular top margin block of 30 (ex-Lagerloef) and 2 pairs. A total of 20 stamps, some plated, 4 corner copies, various plate varieties, 14 used, the rest mint. An excellent specialist lot (SG170, 70a).

On black stock pages and album pages, over 400 stamps, a few blocks, comprising a range of target cancels on imperf and later including a very pretty numeral "3" of Rustenburg on imperf 6d blue with italic "VR" and "6" on 1883 strip of 3, many choice pieces, an excellent showing of town cancels. some cork cancels, interprovincial usages.
