An outstanding mint collection mounted in one volume on Fidelity Trading Co. pages, the collection covers covers all facets including many varieties such as imperfs, imperf between, missing colors, printed on both sides, overprint varieties such as inverted, doubled & wrong Characters, etc., many varieties which are unlisted, the quality is well above average and must be viewed to be fully appreciated, an outstanding lot for the specialist (2023 Scott $22,138 for just the Scott Listed material plus a large amount of material not listed by Scott).

1589 S      Costa Rica, Specimen Overprint Collection, 1909-54. Of over 850 issues arranged on stockpages in binder, includes regular, airmail, airmail official and revenue issues all arranged by the various specimen type overprints mostly in complete sets, also including a rare Airmail 1946 CPP overprint black proof specimen set; sets with and without security punches; nice fresh material throughout, an excellent collection for the Costa Rican specialist.

1590 o      Cyprus, Cancellation Collection, 1880-1944. Of over 130 stamps and one cover neatly presented on album pages arranged by era and watermark starting with GB stamps overprinted CYPRUS. 1595       Europe, Airmail Postal History. Strong grouping of 400-500 middle range priced Airmail covers from both West and East Europe with no Switzerland and no Germany The rest of Europe is more or less equally represented with great variety starting in 1918 and going into the mid 1960's. However the majority of the airmail usages are commercial and before 1945 along with many better flights. There are many interesting usages such as O.A.T., censors, registered, auxiliary markings and destinations. Generally very fine. All are sleeved and priced with approximately $15,000 of retail value.

1598 /o      Falkland Islands, QV//QEII Collection Balance. In 4 blue albums plus large envelope, most of the value in QV and KGVI eras, most of the bulk in QEII era. Includes a group of QV early issues with a nice range of printings, mint and used and including some watermark varieties (SG 8x cat. £450), 2 Specimens, some better cork cancellations, KGV 2d line perf used (SG62a £160), KGV 1921 set complete with shades and a few used, Silver Jubilee 2½d with margin at left, variety flagstaff on right hand turret (VF, LH cat. £500), various values of the first KGVI set including 5/ (3 mint, 2 used), 10/ (2 used, one on piece tied Fox Bay, and £1 (3 mint, 4 used, one on large piece canceled Fox Bay), a few blocks, 1952 Definitive mint, some used plus a £1 block of 4, 1960 QEII set plus varieties, 1962 Radio 2/ with inverted watermark, Churchill 1/ corner margin block of 4 with inverted watermark (£400), and all definitive and commemorative sets to about 2010. A nice showing of Map issues including varieties (1d dot by oval, used £200, 3d dot by oval (£375), 6d South Poke (£180) and other major and minor varieties, some blocks, Dependencies set mint and used, South Georgia first set with both £1s and overprints complete, Dependencies sets complete, some in gutter pairs, BAT set with both £1s (missing 2/6), albums of covers, etc. Generally F-VF. (SG £15,500++, $18,600++).
