An important collection balance approximately 125 covers and cards, numerous highlights including various "Denver City" datestamps including 1860 and 1861 "tombstone" postmarks, 1861 "Denver City Kas" double-circle postmark, 1865 "Denver City, Col Advertised" datestamp, 1867 cover to Ireland with pair of 24c, several strikes of negative "M" in square (Cole Lm-63) including one to Great Britain, fancy "US" in circle on postal card (Cole US-83), 1880 registered cover to New York with 1990 Philatelic Foundation certificate, 1894 "Forw'd From" and "General Delivery" handstamps, and 1895 magenta "Registry Div." sawtooth oval, mixed condition but most strikes fine or better, a wonderful way to kickstart a Denver collection as a wide variety of different markings are represented here.
