 France spectacular collection that has a lot more to offer than the major number items listed in most catalogs. For starters there is a fresh NH four-margin copy of #2, signed twice. The 5fr Napolean used is beautifully centered with no
thins. There is an imperf pair of 4 centime Peace and Commerce Type II (1887 reprint?). In addition to the stamps one would expect to find there are numerous imperfs pre-cancels, booklets, parcel post, and WWII unlisted material. (Image) (image002)

 French Congo/Middle Congo really nice collection with most primary numbered items present. Specialty material includes the 1900-1904 pictorials on thick and thin paper and the color error 36f. A nice used copy of the 1891 parcel post

 Impressive German States collection with many better items. Baden is complete for major numbers and has additional shades and paper varieties. Bavaria #1 and #22 have certs, the latter is NH. There are also imperf varieties, B1-3 with
inverted overprint, CL1, E perfins, and a booklet pane. Bergedorf, Bremen, Brunswick, Hamburg, Hanover, Prussia, Thurn and Taxis are well represented. The latter two states have interesting 1873 and 1910 reprints, respectively. Wurttemburg is
quite strong and contains #53a (repaired) with certificate. Condition is much better than typically encountered. (Image) (image002)
