526 c imageEdward Khol created and sold First Day covers as KholKraft through most of the 4 to 6 cent era of U.S. postage. This lot contains his unsold inventory crammed into 27 500-count envelope boxes for an estimated total of 10,000 to 12,000 covers. As would be expected, there is significant duplication but, all are clean, cacheted and unaddressed. Also, included are more than a dozen binders of his personal collection where, in many cases, he kept one of his own covers, mint examples of the stamps, and sometimes other cachet makers’ covers. There is also a bit of cachet production material, a few U.N. and Canada FDCs and some miscellany to be found. A gold mine for the individual with the proper marketing savvy.
