Incorporates almost 300 mostly cacheted FDCs and similar themed covers in four albums or binders. Entails thirty ship-naval cancelled covers from various ships including HMS Repulse which was sunk by the Japanese on 10 December 1941 and HMS Hood which was sunk by the German ship Bismarck both at the start of WW II as well as HMS Glorious, Courageous (both aircraft carriers) etc. Likewise, it includes forty different FDCs having the same interesting cachets. Viewing will find an expansive variety of cachets from Great Britian and colonies including Hong Kong, Newfoundland, Caribbean, Africa, Burma, India, Asia, and Oceania. From a decades long accumulation from a collector who had great admiration for the British Royal Family especially King George VI. Do not let this one get away as you will not see another offering of this magnitude soon.
