524 c/FDC image1939 Royal Visit to Canada by their Majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth collection in a medium box from the Golden Flyer Estate Part II. Over 250 Event, FDCs, and Royal Train cancelled covers having a wide variety of cachets including many Crosby and difficult to find cachets organized nicely in two cover albums. Includes a very tough to find fifty covers all with different town and city cancels having the same cachet and mailed to the same person. Likewise, involves HMS Glasgow Mail Office cacheted and Newfoundland covers too. Lifelong assortment that took the collector many decades to assemble. Hard to replicate in today’s philatelic market. From a collector who has admiration for the Royal Family, Canada and particularly King George VI. Do not let this one get away.
