We noticed items postmarked in Arizona, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and more. Almost all covers have cachets; many cachets are hand-inked or hand-painted. Contains some similarly designed stamps from the Marshall Islands. Cachet makers include Artcraft, Artmaster, Byrnes, Butterfield, Cardinal, Doback, Dube, Dynamite, Dwojachi, Edsel, Fleetwood, Gamm, Homespun, Hess, HF, Kribbs, Panels, S&T, and USPS postcards. Organized A-Z (Arlington to Zearing) having cities, towns, villages, and unincorporated towns in six binders in ABC order. Involves a nice offering from the county seat, Princeton, including some stampless covers. Likewise entails some difficult to find DPOs and RPOs. Collected for many decades and hard to duplicate today. Condition varies but does not distract from the awesomeness of this holding. Bureau County or Illinois specialists take note. A few pamphlets are also included. The tour went from Boston, along the Atlantic Seaboard, to the Gulf Coast, through the Panama Canal, and finally to California, Oregon, and Washington; a return trip followed. Almost all covers are sleeved and in F-VF condition. There are many different cachets and stamps, including air mail postage. Of special interest to military enthusiasts and ship topical collectors.
