"R.N.Z.A.F. / N.Z.A.P.O. / D" WWII cds, good (quite light) near complete strike (with "D" clear) 13 JE 45 on stampless OAS cover (with NPFB NZ printed logo), to NZ ("P.O. BOX 48" address at Auckland CPO). "Censored" by the sender, F/O R.A. McDonald,
using "censored / RNZAF" boxed h/s (signed by him). Addressee not found, so 8 diff Auckland markings added incl "No Box", "Not Known by postmen ...", "Unclaimed". etc. This "D" cds was used by NZAPO 308 at Cape Torokina, Bougainville June 1944-Feb
1946. Good cond. Ex Startup.

pencil m/s "Wounded" & "Helouan" (hospital, Egypt), plus other (undecipherable) m/s. B/s Hilwan cds 13.VII.15. Overall soiling on front. Little such inward mail to troops has survived.
