Noted several diff early A-class cds types (incl duplex). Unusual is an 1870 cover to Canada with 6d FFQ pair & large black "5" h/s (non-NZ type) indicating 5c to pay for extra USA to Canada fee. Dispatch stamp alongside Sydney Ship Letter arrival d/s (4.12) on reverse. A double rate Waikato War cover, probably written between Drury & Queens Redoubt when the 12th Regiment (under Colonel Hamilton) was marching south en route for Queens Redoubt.
