Mar.1931 (Frommer 36c) Qantas white/blue vignette 'By Air Mail / NORTH QUEENSLAND Australia's Winter Playground': exploded large part booklet comprising the covers, two complete vertical strips of 8 & a vertical strip of 6, all with top selvedge.

1931-34 group with 1931 Australia-Java (AAMC.204) franked with 1/- Roo &  WA 1½d x8, 1934 Australia-Papua or Australia-New Guinea (AAMC.390-392) flights (6) with a variety of frankings; also unrelated Australia 1941 concessional rate cover from Ocean Grove to Port Melbourne and a Tonga 1936 inwards Tin Can Mail cover from USA. 1932-33 (AAMC.242) Australia - Germany flown cover carried on the return of the Bertram Atlantis Expedition franked 3d Airmail tied by DARWIN 12 DE 32 cds, plus Dutch East Indies (2) for arrival and departure after a long delay for repairs, AKYAB (Burma) cds tieing India 3a Air and German 10pf Eagle tied by BERLIN 14 4 33 arrival cds. 

13 June 1932 (AAMC.269a) Sydney - Bourke - (Quakers Hill) Sydney, flown cover, carried and signed by Jones and Ritchie on the first all-Australian designed and built Jones Monoplane "Wonga". [Only 10 flown].

May - July 1933 (AAMC.312) 2nd Mackay Aerial Survey Expedition flown cover postmarked at HAY (1 of 4) and signed by the pilot, Frank Neale, the navigator, Harry Bennett, Donald Mackay and T. Robertson, pilot of the second plane. Cat.$500.

1934 - 1950 group of flown covers; 2 registered and including a few foreign. (12, of which the Australian items Cat.$470.).

October 1934 (AAMC.433) England - Australia MacRobertson Air Race cover carried by the winning entry DH66 Comet 'Grosvenor House' in a total elapsed time of 71 hours and signed by both pilots "CWA Scott" and "Tom Campbell Black" on the back. Posted back to England with adhesives tied by 'REGISTERED/24OC34/MELBOURNE' datestamp with black/blue registration label alongside, fine condition; 100 flown - Cat. $1,250.

October 1934 (AAMC.434) MacRobertson Air Race cover, flown and signed by Roscoe Turner, who came 3rd in the race from London to Melbourne.

20 Oct.1934 (AAMC.438) MacRobertson Air Race cover, flown and signed by Cyrus Kay in his Dragon DH89 Rapide "Tainui". Cat.$150.

THE LONDON to MELBOURNE, MacROBERTSON CENTENARY AIR RACE 1934: Porcelain hanging plaque by Koninklyk Goedewaagen Gouda (and numbered "143" on reverse), 18.5cm diameter; depicting a stork (Uiver in Dutch) carrying passengers and mail over the route from London to Melbourne; created to celebrate the success of the KLM aeroplane in this important air race.

THE LONDON to MELBOURNE, MacROBERTSON CENTENARY AIR RACE 1934: Souvenir silver tea-spoon with "KLM UIVER" to the handle, the dates, route and a stork to the bowl. (11cm long); Also, a 50th Anniversary porcelain hanging plaque by Regina Delfts Blauw, Oosterwijk, depicting the UIVER, her crew, and the complete route flown in 1934 from London to Melbourne. (2 items).
 

"THE LAST FLIGHT OF THE 'SOUTHERN CROSS'": 18 July 1935 (AAMC.514 & 515) comprising covers numbered '46', '49', and consecutively numbered '88' & '89', cover '46' with a IMPERFORATE SPECIAL VIGNETTE (rare on cover) and a personally written note from Ernie Crome on reverse, the others bearing a perforated vignette; all covers are signed by the seven personnel aboard this historic Mascot-Richmond short flight, namely pilots Charles Kingsford Smith and P.G. Taylor, plus Mary Kingsford Smith, John Stannage, Beau Shiel, John Ulm & C.G.Scrimgeour (radio broadcaster); also an unnumbered cover with perforated vignette and bold Kingsford Smith signature on the face. A most desirable group, Cat. $4,650++. (5 signed covers).

The Last Flight of the "Southern Cross" 18 July 1935 (AAMC.515) a cover (#30) carried from Mascot to Richmond, with special vignette showing the route the aeroplane had followed around the world; signed by Charles Kingsford Smith, Mary Kingsford Smith, P.G. Taylor, John Stannage and all other personnel on board.
