Solomon Islands Campaign in the Pacific, USMC collection of 75+ censored covers of the British Solomon Island Campaign in the Western Pacific, each cover mounted and described in depth with type and handwritten notes detailing censor type,
cancellation markings and historical details about the military unit of assignment. Items sent from the Banika Island, Guadalcanal Island, New Caledonia. and others with a great selection of APO's. Does not appear to be much duplication of senders or
locations. Many pages annotated with the different units/batteries. Covers seeme to about evenly franked using 6¢ orange Air Post Stamped Envelopes and 6¢ Transports. A must for a Marine Corp enthusiast or anyone focused on WWII censorship
