1948, Wilhelmina 80 c. red, imperforated proof in double-sheet of 200 stamps with 10 gutter pairs, ungummed, some marginal faults. Very rare.
1881/84, Definitive Issues, mint never hinged/unused and used collection, comprising an extensive range of multiples, including numerous large blocks, some better items with 5 paras imperforated tête-bêche pair, used blocks of four, an attractive selection of imperforate singles, pairs and blocks, as well as a group of plate flaws, and more. A most unusual specialist assembly, with many certificates. Slightly mixed condition (ex Mi.-Nr. 6-13)
1885, Framed Lion, important unmounted mint/unused and used collection (over 130 items) with duplicates and multiples, many better items up to 5 piastres, commencing with 5 pa. type I used with scarce perforation 11½ (Mi.-Nr. 22IB), 10 pa. unused with inverted overprint, signed Thier (Mi.-Nr. 24IIBK; minor faults), also a fine group of used, together with an impressive array of scarce blocks (8 items), including 10 pa. type I block of six unused (Mi.-Nr. 24IB) and type II unused block of 4 (Mi.-Nr. 24IIB), and more; many certificates Hitzler (some without the actual stamps), overall in slightly mixed condition. An impressive specialist assembly of those difficult issues.
1885, Unframed Lion, magnificent unmounted mint/unused and used collection (over 200 items) with a wealth of duplicates and multiples, many better items throughout commencing with an extremely scarce 5 pa. used (MI.-Nr. 14Ia; rebacked at top) with compound perforation 13½:11½, 5 pa. unused with inverted overprint (Mi.-Nr. 14IBaK; added corner), 5 pa. unused with double overprint (Mi.-Nr. 14IBaDD; thinned), and large multiples to 1 piastre, including 10 pa. unused block of 25 (Mi.-Nr. 16IBa); strong selection of used examples, with several scarce multiples including 5 pa. (Mi.-Nr 14IBa) strip of three used with Plovdic datestamp, and more; many certificates Hitzler (some without the actual stamps), overall in slightly mixed condition. An impressive specialist assembly of those difficult issues.
1881/85, Forgery Reference collection (over 110 items), with the "R.O", Unframed and Framed Lion types, including forged cancellations. A useful specialist lot.
1881, 5 pa., composite proof in brown (2), red-carmine and blue colours, perforated 13½ and arranged as a block of four setting, unused with original gum, fresh and very fine. Remarkable and apparently unrecorded, not listed in ProFi. Signed Kosack, with accompanying certificate RPSL (1975)
