1840s/1950s, postal history collection, with over 160 covers, several dozen written-up on pages, the covers beginning with 1852 frankings, subsequent 1864 and 1867 King William III perforated issues including an attractive 1868 cover to Lyon franked with two 1864 15 c. orange, later examples include various Zeppelin flights, WWI Prisoner of War mail,  Express mail, KLM flights, advertising, Rocket Mail, cinderellas, German Occupation, 1901 cover to a Boer War POW at Diyatalawa Camp in Ceylon, redirected mail, postage due, etc, a few dozen still on their auction lot cards from many years past, usual flaws consistent with commercial usage, a diverse holding.

"AMSTERDAM 11.FEB.00” to large cover with Surinam Willem 50 cents brown and 2,50 guilder (fallen off and replaced) left uncancelled (no longer valid, marked with zero "0”) and Wilhelmina 30 cents lilac-brown, cancelled "PARAMARIBO 20.1.1900” plus endorsement "via Havre” and handstamp "T”. The stamps with tiny spots, the cover with slight traces of transportation. An exceptional high postage due franking.
